Anyone who forgot

Anyone who has not answered gets an email with the day's menu and a link straight to the form. Still quiet? Another one follows every few minutes. The second they answer, the nudges stop. Snacks get their own reminders on their own clock.

The day locks. Properly.
When the clock reaches your company's cut-off, that day is done. Nobody can add, change or cancel an order for it. If an admin really has to step in, they can, and the override lands in the activity log with their name next to it.

Forty-five days, then it is gone for good.
Order history sticks around for 45 days, counted by the date of the food. On day 46 a nightly job deletes it completely. No archive, no secret copy, no "we kept it just in case". The app holds on to what the kitchen needs and lets the rest go.
Tomorrow's orders are never touched, and every clean-up is written to the activity log.

Many companies, zero crossover
Every record belongs to exactly one company. If the app ever cannot tell which, it shows nothing at all rather than guess.
Invitations, not passwords
New people get a link that expires and choose their own password. No admin ever knows it, so no admin can leak it.
Mistakes that point at themselves
Miss something and the page glides straight to it and gives the card a gentle flash. Fix it and the warning clears on the spot.
An activity log in plain words
Every sign-in, order and edit, shown as before and after in words a person reads, with no codes and no raw ids. Filter by who, what or when.
Cooking for yourself? Noted.
Mark someone as self-cooking and they drop out of the food flow and the "still to order" count, while snacks and supplies stay open to them.
